where to get big alternators?
looking into upgrading my alt again. had a 105 amp, and went to 120 amp. looked around at auto part stores online. autozone, advanced, and orielly. biggest i found was 130.

I have 2 of their 200amp alternators in my Suburban, and a 250amp one in my work Van...
These are direct replacement size, and will fit right where your 105 amp on is now.
But when you install a 200 amp one, you will need to replace the charge wire from the alternator to the battery, with a 4ga cable...If you go with the 250amp, then you'll need at least a 2ga cable from alternator to battery....
Otherwise, you will burn the new alternator up!!
