What is the best way to find out what size alt. you have in your truck? I looked at it and did not see any markings.

put your trucks info and look at the alternator section and it should tell you the amperage

you could also call the maker/dealership of your vehicle and give them the model information . it also may be written on some of the vehicle info stickers under your hood or engine compartment .

If u look at your alternator, it is indented in the metal very lightly , but its on there!!

I would check with a parts company, Napa, checkers, and see what sizes was available. Or check the specs of the car/truck. they sometime list the output on the sticker.
