is there a fatory alt that a guy could find at a junk yard that woud be stronger than the 94 amp. fatory alt????
maby with a little mod. could make work...
can aford to go out and buy a 200 watt cutom bilt alt...

I would think a parts store would have rebuilt 135 amp alternators on hand. You can use your current alternator as the core.

thanks for info ill check out the part stores for a rebild kit. i have rebuilt alt.s befor but did not think of that thanks.

Check out advanced auto parts and look for a PowerMaster brand alternator. Factory replacement, and most do around 200amps, and kick the voltage up a bit too without harming your charging system.

I would give a look at what ww228kidd posted. I was going to post that link when I saw this thread, but he beat me to it. Also what linx said is an option too. I have checked Advanced and they can order Power Master alternators, but are about $400 for the one I priced for a 96 S-10 Style Blazer. (200 amp) I talked to a shop that rebuilds them as well, but they made it sound like it would be more worth it just to buy a bigger one to begin with, they didn't want to mess with it. But that guy that is selling them on ebay that ww228kidd posted, looks like he has some excellent prices & free shipping. Don't forget to check, if you go too much bigger, you may need to up the AWG size wire from alternator to battery.
