Hmmm....a spot to post random journal notes...lol, i love this. well, today I left deep east texas on I-20 for the flatlands of west texas. I had to come out here for business all week. Of course, I stopped at CB City in Tyler..spent money...and then Clay's..spent money...what? I can take a few breaks along the way! anyway, got my radio up and going and hoping I can find some folks to talk to out here. Tonite I am in Lubbock, tomorrow Plainview and then back down to Big Spring...Sweetwater later in the week and finally Abilene. If you are out this way....look for the blue GMC with the antenna towering 14.5 ft about the ground!!

73's...BG

Clays and CB City in one day. Hey at least it is a business deduction! Enjoy the Big Country.

yeah..nothing out there but cotton fields! lol....well, thats too bad. i got lucky with CB City being 45 minutes north of my house....so, i can get by there about any time. but it does seem to get harder and harder to find good shops. CB's are so out of popularity except with truckers...but maybe folks like us will bring them back. my friends all look at my truck like i am a nerd. lol

Yeah, know what you mean. When I pulled up to the house with a Wilson 1000 on the roof of my truck the response was "So what are you now, a storm chaser". Right.

BG you must be from somewhere close to Whitehouse. I buy German Shepherds from a lady just across the line in Cherokee County.
