WELL DAMN!!! What do ya know... Where abouts are you in Charlotte Diesel Runner? I Live on the SW side right near Wilkinson and Ashley. Wish I could say I knew a good radio shop but I'm afraid I don't... I do however know a good truck stop.. Hit the one on the I-85 Statesville Ave exit right there at the 85/77 Intersection. Ask around there for a few minutes and I'm sure SOMEONE will know a good shop.

If you can wait for your radio to be repaired, I would be suspect on the quality of service you are recieving. It would not take long to ship to a sponser, have repaired/upgraded, and sent back. At least then you know you have a qualified tech working on it.

And I will endorse Mike at RadioActive, He did a great job for me.

I must say I know it is frustrating trying to find a good radio shop I have worked with many from coast to coast and the are very hard to find on the east coast for some reason. I know you may not want to hear it again but after over ten thousand $ lost and being **Censored** oh so many times. I can only say....... Radio Active.

That depends on your definition of "around".

Mike is around this side of the planet and around this side of the americas, around this side of the internet.

I meant the definition of around as what would be understood by an individual not requiring a picture to be drawn :88-tease:

Well, sorry, was just being a smart a**. I do a lot of buying and selling on ebay and I just dont worry anymore about what is down the street. It is just as easy for me to have USPS or UPS or whoever pick up what I am sending and have them deliever to my door. I have a number for a radio tech within 75 miles from here who is suposed to be good. I will still send out because of the convienance of it. You are not going to go to a local tech and "wait" in the office for a mod. You will have to drop it off and go back to pick it up. If you could wait for the mod then I would be suspect of the type of work being offered. I dont know all of our sponsors here personaly but they have the recommendations of so many qualified and knowledgeable ppl on this forum that I would trust them.
