Hey guys here is a few pics of my mobile setup ....I still have to mount a vertex VX 4200 VHF Mobile in there also...it will be mounted below the 99 between the seat and the 99 Attached with 2 Sided 3M tape.....As soon as I get my 2547 I will get some base pictures...I made the mount to get a decent place to put the radio, newer vehicles are tough to mount radios that are easily assessable...so I made me a mount:)

Thanks for the compliment Mississippifrog.....It isnt the nicest truck on the road but it gets me back and forth from where I need to go

Here is my other vehicle .....I just cant talk the wife into letting me slap a big antenna and a radio in it ...but I am trying to talk her into it

nice!! i am almost done with my mobile, picture coming this week. you know that the dual antenna system isn't that good... they need to be 7ft 2 in apart if so... nice truck though

on a side not I have a wilson 5000 mag mount comming so I will be taking the silverloads off anyways

No I havent had any squeel problems ...that was the same place my Uniden speaker was also ....I dont run with the talkback on so that may be the reason for no squeels.... Thanks for all the compliments guys

Mike may shoot me for this... but I bet if you kept her in something smaller (like one of the small cobra styles) and one of the Cell Phone style antennas she may let you do it.... It wouldn't have the range of that 99v, but you've got the super receive right?

yeah i am sure i could find A way to put a radio in the dodge ...but she doesnt want any so i will let it go at that:)

Is it the workman mount? I ordered one of those fist and put it in the truck and was not pleased at all with it ....I saw that the quackshack has some premade mounts called bubba brackets sorta like the one I made which I have mine reinforced to keep it pretty steady
