CB Radio Talk

Does anyone have any ideas were to mount an amp at i cant find a good place that wont look tacky and is still close enough to the radio. Thanks and God Bless

How about under the drivers seat, switch forward.

Under the back seat or behind it if you have a crew cab. I dont like it under the front seat cuz the seat is all ways getting moved.

its a extended cab and all how long can i make the coax be from radio to amp i thought it had to be less than 3 ft

I heard the same thing its not true it will be fine bud.

no way man how do you think them guys run their jumpers in their burbons ? their amps sit in the way back. bozos amp sits in his tool box in the back of his truck you will be fine with it in the back of your cab

Yea, I vote in the back someplace too with a remote switch. Actually what I had in my '01 Dodge was located under the driver's seat. I just reached under (easily) and done deal. Indeed, the jumper coax won't (shouldn't) affect anything.

And I'd have to agree with the comments! Lots to learn and do here. The problem is I can spend WAY too much time here and get nothing else done! And believe me, I get to hear about it from the wife!

All the other forums Ive seen have been MUDDUCKS forums! Everybody there trying to "Key over" everybody else with "knowledge" none of them have!!
