One I was watching was a MarkIV A.

It is a Mark IVA...I know I said Mark IV my bad..No difference anyway except the PLL ....But yes it's a IVA.....

Mine was completely gone through[IV] worked great for 1/2 hour then back to silent. Is back in shop and crossing my fingers . Don't think it was anything major. Ran across another IV and purchased it,,is on shelf and no plans yet for it,,maybe end of this year get it looked at. The one in shop was my Dad's so it will never see e-bay.

From the info received on here my MarkIV was completely gone through and pinging away for a month now. That trip to Alabama it made was the trick. The radio had never played right and was a big headache since @ 1985. In fact,,,purchased another one maybe can get redone later this year. Thanks for the help and thanks to Greg . Hmmmmmm,,,,now I wonder how to wire this ElectroVoice to it.
