Tonight I am going to attempt to load Mac OSX Snow Leopard on my HP Mini.

Why? If you're into something like OSX, then why not do something like Ubuntu on the HP? Isn't OSX based off of FreeBSD, or some other *nix flavor? At work I primarily use a Dell/Windows laptop but I also have a Toshiba on my desk running Ubuntu 9. Super stable.

Linux or Hackintosh, the support is still an underground network. I already have a copy of Mac OSX so why not do it? Stick with what you know works.

I compare this to dropping a Chevy engine into a Ford body. GM won't support you and neither will Ford.

Got it all done, plus have it to where you can choose to boot up in Windows or Mac OS. I'm sure there will be more things to figure out and more mods to do, but as for now I am happy.

Usually the only problems you may encounter with a swap like that is networking and keyboard issues, but if it's a widely common thing to do, then there will be answers out there.

Like I said, support for it is just like Linux in that it is all done by individuals. And since Mac OS is Unix based, I bet a lot of the same guys develope it. Running Mac OS on a netbook has become popular so there are several websites out there that provide support and patches for hardware issues. For instance, when I first started mine up everything basically worked except the sound, mouse scroll, and CPU info. But I downloaded a few files and got all those things working.
