Does any one has a illustration of an AC Alt set up? If so would you post it, or do you know where I can browse to find it?

All alternators are 'AC'

DC units were called generators and you can find some on older 60's cars.

Are you looking for an add on alternator for competition ?

If so, you will need to build a mount ( I dont know of any commercial available ) Buy an alternator and buy a regulator.

Alternators run an avarage of $ 400.00
Regulators run an avarage of $ 250.00

I can direct you to someone who can maybe weld you a bracket.

If you are looking to upgrade your current alternator you can get stock alts going up to about 160- 200 depending on unit. I can only get a 165 for my truck to fit in stock location and work with my computer system.

If this doesent help, PM me with what you need and I will see what we can find. I will be going to a keydown the 2nd of july and I will be taking more pix of comp trucks including alts and batts etc. I will post um at that time.
