Sonar FS-3023 power cord
I found a sonar FS-3023 radio that looks to be in real nice condition but it does not have a power cord so I don't know if its working. It takes the rectangular 12 pin power cord connector. Does anyone know where I can find one??
Thanks
Rocky
Thanks

Re: Sonar FS-3023 power cord
can u take a pic of it? Is it the black rectangle box kind? I have one but they come in different configurations and are sometimes wired differently, but you could change that.

I pm'd you but you're probably busy. If you pm me your address I'll just mail it to you if it has the right pin count and you can have it. I haven't even pulled it off the radio but I think it is the type you need.

Re: Sonar FS-3023 power cord
A pic would really help. I have a couple old Sonar radios but they have round plugs. My Siltronix needs a cord that is rectangular. I checked that kenselectronics site but they don't have it available any longer.

Re: Sonar FS-3023 power cord
Some of the square types seem to be the harder ones to find these days. Watching eBay over time is likely your best bet. That's where I find most of the power plugs I need for my old boat anchors.

Re: Sonar FS-3023 power cord
Improvise if you can't find a power cord for it take the cord off an old lamp and wire one side of the AC through the on/off switch in the radio to one side of primary winding of the power transformer and the other side of the AC to the other primary winding.
