I want a 10k Just can't afford it right now. Anyway was looking into getting a102 ss.Will that be a good match for my general lee?I was gonna use a mount that screws into the jam on the liftgate of my van. Will that be a good enough ground?I really don't care much about height,I've got a six and a half footer on the roof right now,it's just a piece of crap!

If There were no Predator 10K's...Then I would run a 102" whip...Next best thing! (and in some peoples eye's, the 102" Whip, is the best. But they have'nt tryed the 10K yet either)

Yes 6" spring. That will make it a total of 108" (9 ft) which is exactly 1/4 wavelength on CB frequencies.

CANT AFFORD PRED 10-K? YOU CANT AFFORD NOT TO HAVE A PRED 10-K!!!! J/K. BUT...BUT... IF YOU DO LIKE I HAVE DONE & BUY CHEAP PERFORMANCE ANTENNA, YOU WILL HATE IT & TRY ANOTHER CHEAP ONE, THEN GET **Censored** AT IT'S PERFORMANCE & THEN BUY A DECENT ONE. I UNDERSTAND THE AFFORDABILITY CIRCUMSTANCE... ( I HAVE 6 KIDS) BUT IF YOU START WITH UNDERPERFORMERS YOU USUALLY WASTE MORE IN THE LONG RUN. ANYONE CONCUR?????????[/b]

yea what he said,,,its like buying a Cobra 19Plus and putting a swing kit in it, Big final, echo board, Peak and tune,,,,,,you still have a small 19Plus,,and have the money in it that you would in a Big Radio,,,,save and at least buy a wilson 1000,,,but you are on your way in price to a 10K

I have used both antennas on different vehicles and I got better performance from the 102". They are both great performers depending on how & where they are mounted.
