Midland 150m power mic?

#325335

Post by liquidh8 »

I have an old midland 150M, not the 120 channel one, the 40. Anyway, it has a 4 pin mic. But my stock cobra mic, cobra power mic, and the astatic d104 don't work in it, it just humms when i key up. Is the wiring different? Can I repin the cobra power mic to work? Looking in the radio, there are a few disc caps running from pin to pin. I guess these are for noise or something? Any help is appreciated.

Yes sir, this way I can try it out. I have a few radios that are 5 pin, and a few that are 4. The four pin mics were easier to come by so i have more of those.

This for the Midland
1. Audio

2. Shield

3. Receive

4. Transmit

This is for the Cobra now you can see why the mic didn't work with the 150M.
