Hey all, I recently acquired an sdm1000 mic and would like to wire it up to an RCI2950. I see conflicting wiring schemes on the internet and there were two different models with different color wires. I have the black, white, red, blue, green, orange, and shield version.
I emailed Sam at RF LTD....no response. Any help would be appreciated.
Thx, Pips

Re: SDM1000 mic info needed
well the rci 2950 requires the following from any mic:
1-shield
2-audio-
3-transmit
4-receive
5-channel up if equipped on mic
6-channel down if equipped on mic
since the ranger sdm1000 does have channel up and down the below code should work for you my book only lists that mic as having black/red/white/blue/green and yellow as well the shield - so i would GUESS that your orange is the substitute for the yellow wire, if thats true try this code:
1 Shield/Black
2 Red
3 White
4 Blue
5 Yellow <----------- sub your orange wire in here
6 Green
please let me know if it works and i can make the notation in my book
