Ok belive it our not say its safe or not but today hear in saint louis i have hooked up a four pill 2290 and am useing it as a driver for a 4 pill 2879 and it is working great not even gettin hot i have posted this video of me doing it on utube under payeurtom9 its the newest video ive only made 2 so it wont be hard to find. And i am driveing it with 300 peek watts and the audio is ungodley and i talked 65 miles away with a carrier of 6. I dont no how many people are rideing around with a four pill driveing a four pill but im glad to say i will keep doing it till it blows just as a experiment

Its a high drive made by viper and can take a heck of a lot of swing. Im not gonna talk on it like that just got it for shoot outs it will hold up for that

Cool deal what kinda watts you seeing out of it?

That seems like a lot of watts to be dumping into a high drive anyways. i'm surprised your audio doesn't sound all chewed up and nasty. i'm sure you got to be splattering up and down a bunch of freq's though. I see smoke.. lotsa smoke!

You need to be careful with the splatter and bad harmonics. You could be tearing up govt or commercial communications and have no idea you are. I would caution you strongly on the operation of this set up. I love some cb rambo activity, but you may be attracting some unwanted attention. TRUST ME ON THIS!!

Even if it is a "high drive", a 4 pill is too much drive, just my 2 cents....

I remember years ago when I thought I'd try a HD 4-pill with my RCI-2995, even though I turned my RF Power out down on the radio... the 4 pill didn't last long....
