I normaly don't post thing's like this so please bare with me . I was reading my home states new's paper and then reading the Obit's and i was in shock and my heart just dropped like a rock . This person was like a father to me and was teaching me the art of ham radio . I knew this man for 10 year's so i'm taking it hard . I do know he use to live in houston , tx and had a cb and went by Triple M and his ham call was AB5UK .

It just hurt's inside when you see thing's like that and you think back of the time you spent with a close friend .

I know that one really well! :? Back in '95 my radio tech friend (carried an Extra ham ticket) dropped at a baseball game with a massive heart attack. The wife and I were travelling at the time on vacation and I didn't find out about it until much later. He was a very close friend and it bothered me alot that I didn't find out about it right away. :(

Sorry to hear that man. No prob' on the venting. I've done a bit of it here myself.

;)

No one can realy say anything that will help when you lose a friend or family member. We all have lost someone close to us and as we get older we will lose more. Keep the memories fresh, start a jurnal or scrap book of memories to remember the good times.

Sorry for your loss.....

I GUESS WE ALL HAVE LOST SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD A POSITIVE INFLUENCE IN OUR LIFE. THE BEST WE CAN DO, IS TAKE WHAT OUR MENTORS TEACH US, & APPLY IT IN OUR LIVES TO HAVE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON SOME ONE ELSE'S LIFE.. SORRY TO HEAR FOR YOUR LOSS OF SOMEONE IMPORTANT... I KNOW THE FEELING ALL TOO WELL..
