Fixed my mic ourselves

Post by funonahonda »

I had a Astatic mic that needed fixed because one of the wires on the inside came unsoldered, so instead of paying someone
to fix it I bought a soldering iron and my wife held the mic end while looking on the Astatic website to find out which wire went where I soldered the wires back on better, so I got a solder iron in my tool collection instead of paying someone else.

Get a small vise that clamps on a table, the wife might not do that again, lol. Practice more on something else.

Great job, don't get rid of the iron. Cause those things break there all the time! I have fixed countless ones. I like to buy them "broken" for $5, and fix em. Later.
