WORKMAN DM 502B MIC

I bought this mic got it with a 6 pin connector for a RCI 2995 DX. It had problems with up channel button and the transmit button. If up button was pressed the radio went into transmit but dead carrier. If transmit was pressed it transmitted great but went up a channel after release of transmit button. Whats the deal??? Thanks Ron

Here is the wiring for the mic if it didn't come with any,
Workman DM502B Desk Microphone
Shield = Mic Ground
White = Mic
Red = PTT Transmit
Blue = PTT Receive
Green = Up
Yellow = Down
Black = Up/Down Common
Orange = B+ (NONE) used to eliminate the battery and get power direct from the radio, will not work on the 2995DX

The radios wiring, stock mic wire colors
1. Ground Shield
2. Audio Yellow
3. Transmit Red
4. Receive Black
5. CH. Up White
6. CH. Down Blue

I don't know who or where you got it but would call and tell them it's wired wrong.

I it is like all of the WORKMAN JUNK I have bought (MADE IN CHINA) it is not worth bringing home! IF people would read the forums and realize you get what you pay for these greed filled devils would stop bringing this China JUNK in this country. This is the one simple fix to the US and Canadian economy. STOP Asian JUNK from coming into this continent!
