Yaesu 270R
I have a Yaesu 270R hand held 2 meter radio. I have also acquired an extra Comet dual band antenna. Will the Comet dual band antenna work well with the single band transceiver?

The antenna is a Comet SMA-24 so it fits my 270 right out of the package. Thanks for the fast answer guys

Sorry, should have looked at the radio, yes SMA is great. I would look at the MFJ-1714S, it is a telescoping antenna that is a 5/8 extended and a 1/2 collapsed.
