bimbo 100 bilinear
in need of instructions on how to operate a " bimbo 100 bilinear " thanks on advance
Re: bimbo 100 bilinear
is it solid state? power on, keydown! or is it tube? power on, (SSB) peak plate and load controls, keydown! (AM) peak plate, peak load, than detune load for foreword swing, keydown!

Hello evargas51,
They are just like any other amp, a on/off switch (think they use a corny phrase for it), a switch that says PEP (this is for SSB) and AVR (AM use), don't remember if it has a pre-amp but leave it off if it does. The hardest thing is to wire it to the battery right the first time and make sure the coax is connected to the right in and out. Another thing I remember is not many of them were made so I'm guessing it was an auction site or flea market find, I wouldn't expect much.

Does that amp have TRW transistors? If it’s the one I think it is, it’s a very nice, clean little amp.
If it’s the one I’m thinking of it’s a thin one about 7 inches long am/ ssb toggle switch, hi and low, and one other I can’t remember. It’s a very low drive amp. 2 max with no more then a 12 watt swing.
I blew mine up real fast with a 20 watt swing. I
