Connex 3300hp TP3 pll offset
Got a connex 3300hp was working had a external frequency counter hookup FC347 (that works on all the other radios I have ) all at once it was reading 10.6950 so I started to check did a pll alignment everything checks good except the pll offset oscillator it should be 16.2700 but the last digit is fluctuating all the way from 27.2700-27.2709 can not get it adjusted , have soldered all around the pll section replaced L20, X1 crystal10.240 , X2 14.010 and the pll , Any body have any ideas

Before doing all that did you check to see if the problem was with the external counter, they have been known to have cold solder joints causing erroneous readings.

Oops, just read it again and see it works fine on other radios. Now that leads me to check your work, somewhere you are going to find a bridged solder joint, only other thing could be the L20 coil is bad even new that happens.MDYoungblood wrote: January 26th, 2019, 2:44 pm Before doing all that did you check to see if the problem was with the external counter, they have been known to have cold solder joints causing erroneous readings.
