SSB Delay Question
Is it ok to leave your SSB delay on when your talking AM and why dont you just leave it on all the time ?

You can yes, but there's going to be a slight delay everytime you un-key, so until the delay is over you're not going to hear anything...course were only talking about maybe a second, if that...Personally I find it annoying but no big deal.

It would be no different than the amps with a automatic SSB delay (Just means they don't have a switch).

If I remember correctly, the delay is made by adding a cap to the relay. If the amp has an AM/SSB switch it just switches in the cap.

Yes, it is a cap on the relay.
