CB Radio Talk

Ok, so I'm a little rusty with the Cb DX state nicknames. I think I know them but it would be cool to compile a list of the state and its CB'er nickname. Nicknames like: In the sand pile, in the hog yard, in the black gold, in the mini grass, in the stone, in the mag(magnolia), in the great shaky,in the corn fields etc...

I've heard Maryland be called the "Old Line State" and the "Free State" and years ago Baltimore was called "Charm City", I have other names I can't say on a family friendly forum, :D :D :D

I live in the Bikini State.

Golden state--CA

Pennsylvania I often hear as the Keystone State.
Sometimes the: Oil State
Quaker State
Coal State
State of Independence

Being from South Carolina (Succalina) we are called the Palmetto State but when I'm calling DX I prefer to refer to Succalina as the Strom Thurmond state.
I say it with a thick Southern accent. An ancient Southern accent.

PA is probably the "Keystone".

Since my first post on this topic I have moved to the “Palmetto State”!
