Is copper braded shield better than aluminum shield

You have to look at the data sheet on lose per length

For replacing 100ft, I'd go with at least a RG213 (this is around 95%or better copper braid shield) or LMR 400 equivalent (this is 100% shield, aluminum foil w/85% or better tinned copper braid).
