CB Radio Talk

Looking to get a new radio . Either a anytone 6666 or lincoln plus 2. I already have a 955 . What's every one opinion on these 2 radios

After a quick look up on both radios I would go for the lincoln plus if I had to buy one of them.
I really dont like radios with one clarifier !! I like a fine and course set up always for SSB.
They both have a power setting knob so you should be able to run them both with a low drive linear.
The wattage output to me is not enough to consider these radios a stand alone radio.
Just my humble opinion

Why is that your choice ??

I had one, very good radio, receive isn’t noisy, SSB is excellent. Only thing I did was tuned down the AM power as it came turned up causing the heatsink to get really hot. I have a topic about it a couple years ago.

I find that a Corona Ball helps a lot with a noisy radio.
I like the President and I think it looks better too.

I'm having the power go as low as 1 watt so I can run a certain box also taking into consideration the peak is lower than the 6666. Better for my application.
