Can someone point me to a site or article detailing the construction of a homemade hexbeam antenna for cb frequencies?

Spectre1..

Welcome to CBRT.

Keep in mind that a hexbeam will require a rotator and mast and the wind load is not ideal…a lot of hassle for just 1 band.

However..if your intent in building one…

Hi Bombero
Thanks for the link!

I was thinking about building a portable 11m hexbeam that I could quickly assemble and take down, for field use (in addition to a vertical antenna).

If you happen to come across an article specifically dealing with portable hexbeams, please let me know.
