Thanks "KP." Did a Search on him. Outta NMex. He so saturates GA & n. FL Channel 19 I don't even try to use it anymore.

Maybe it's Fine Tune Cb shop..... Mark Sherman. When I sign in to YouTube once in a while there are some videos an d the voice in the video keeps saying bakc to the bench and in some if the comments I read people referrinf to him as Mark Sherman and he calls himself Mud Duck in the Dessert.....

No problem bud. I know a lot of truck drivers that hate how he ties up CH19. Oh well, what are ya gonna do.

In reply "KP," & or for whatever it is worth (? : ), I know of folks that are leaving CB and going to GMRS and/or Ham specifically because of his domination of "19." He has made "19" largely impractical to monitor, not to mention, to actually use. The FCC is, apparently, asleep at the switch.

What is he doing that's tying up channel 19? I don't think I've ever heard him.

TNT - You may not be able to hear him in Kansas; however, he is on Channel 19 in GA & FL about 35-40% of the daylight hours (I tend to not monitor much at night). It makes Channel 19 nothing I can count on being able to use. I do not know for sure, but I think he is actually broadcasting pre-recorded combinations of messages.

If I remember correctly, "Hard Drive" used to be on channel 18 but with skip probably went to 19 which is dead on my side of Pennsylvania.

I'll keep an ear out for him, so far I don't think I've ever heard him. He's likely skipping over me.

think your refering to Hard Drive...but far as
"Dominating channel 19" that's just a temporary thing, and depending on where your at, you may or may-not hear him (I seldom hear Hard drive, just others trash-talking him)...Once the solar cycle is done, Mr. Hard Drive will be a distant memory...

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

With all due respect due your way Jesse ... I have been having to put up listening to him for the last 3+ years, and the Solar Cycle 25 has yet to peak ... given your location, I imagine it makes sense that he skips over you most of the time. Glad for you (IF I am guessing correctly - which is, certainly not always the case) that he is mostly blowing past you, leaving you unscathed.

The ham bands have similar behavior too on certain trouble making frequencies. The beauty about radio is that we can turn the channel and talk to someone that is worth my time.
