Finally!

Bought my Stryker radio about two months ago. Today I was seting in my big rig surfing the channels to listen for any skip. Finally I stopped on 26.865 to copy the mail. A gentleman that goes by 505 "Flashback Jack", near Dallas was about to knock me out of my truck. After a few minutes I keyed up and gave him a yell. To my surprise he came back! We talked back and forth for about 10 minutes. I could hear a few of his friends talking to him. He was surprised to find out that I was talking on a barefoot radio. I guess when the conditions are right, you can talk with any kind of set-up.

Yea, it's always nice to see a set up work right. And it's all conditions. The good equipment merely helps them along.
