This guy is the best tech in North Texas by leaps and bounds.
He has built all of my radios and is now working on the Saturn.
Can't wait to start DX'n on the BASE. Maybe I can reach out and touch somebody.

He has a few "Used" radios, but can order you anything you want...

If your wanting to actually "see" New radios, there are two CB Stores in Texas, that carry just about every radio made! 11 meter, 10 meter, exports, and more!

Clay's Radio off I-20, west of Fort Worth
and CB City in Tyler....

CB City, is like a "Sam's" version of CB Stores! They have the largest selection of antenna's of any CB Place I have ever been in in my life! Not even in the 70's when CB Radios were at there peak, I have never been in a store that carried so many different makes of cb antennas...And Radios, meters, mic's, anything CB related. (except amps)

I dont think either store carries amps. Least I don't remember them selling any.

But Jim's CB in Ennis, has their own line of amps, called "Sure Power". And from what I've herd, they are just that..."Sure Power!"

Pure Power amps are nice. A friend of mine bought a 8 pill from Jim. His brother in law offered him 200 more than he payed for it. Jim is a nice down to earth guy. He's a little far for me though.

A lot can happen in a year, even more in the 3 years since that last post, look at all the members that were on the forum we no longer see, age, illness, and just lack of enthusiasm.
