2watt Dk Vs 4watt?

I have a General Washington(Lee) on low my radio Dk is 4 swinging 16
on high Dk is 16 swinging 46 my question is with a messenger 400
(4 x1446's) would there be a difference in audio volume or quality if i went with a 2watt Dk?

it would probably be OK, but 2 watt DK would give you Louder audio, and old saying,,,,Low Deadkey=Long transistor life

4 watts is on the high end of the carrier going into a transmitter, but wont hurt a thing.

Id go with the 2 watt dk more swing=audio also should run cooler and last longer 73 058hamer
