wow I thought I had a 105 amp alternator on my 2005 chevy silerado but since it has the tow package it comes with a 145 amp altenator would this be enough to run a 2 x 4 davemade with a battery cap or do I need a bigger altenator?

KLUCKIN AROUND I HAVE A 2006 WITH THE 145 AMP ALTERNATOR AND IT HANDLES MY 2X4 AND IT WORKS GREAT NO PROBLEMS AT ALL

Where did you find the info as to what size alt. you have on your chevy truck?I have a 2004

hey popcorn 501 if you look on the drivers side top of the altenator it is stamped in the metal real light, kinda hard to see but its on there 145A
