2sc1969 Finals

I keep hearing that these are out of production and I have also heard of cheap finals re-labeled as the 2sc1969.
The site listed below sells them for under $6.00...what gives?

Some places might still have some good stock. Unless they have a minimun order, order a few and see what happens.. It's got the mitubishi symbol on it atleast..
